Embed and Embody
The Embed and Embody exhibition is a collection of work based on a journey of self-expression through material exploration in textiles and jewellery. Workshops were led by NSCAD student facilitators in partnership with new community members from ISANS, the resulting fashion and jewellery pieces reflect individual stories translated into physical form. The exhibition was held at The Anna Leonowens Gallery during Nocturne: Art at Night, an annual city-wide art festival that engages the Halifax community showcasing local visual artists.
