Course Description

Tiles have a long and colourful history and also provide an entry in the wonderful world of learning to decorate ceramics.  Working on the flat (and learning how to keep them flat), this course over 7 weeks will talk all things tiles and experience the variety of ways to decorate them with sgraffito, relief, carving and stamps.  Final project will be open to the student to combine techniques and make something they can use to decorate their world – a single piece or multiple tile project.
