ESYC-2210 - March Break: Art and the Senses (Ages 8-10)
Course Description
Our brains light up when we create! The five human senses – taste, smell, sight, hearing and touch – have long played a significant role in visual art. Movement, sounds, textures, and other sensory stimulation enhance our memories and experiences. Each day of the week will be devoted to one of the five senses where we will look at how various artists use senses in their work and make some amazing art projects of our own using a variety of materials and techniques.
NSCAD Extended Studies camps include all materials. Early drop off and late pick up options available from 8:30am to 5:00pm at no additional cost.
NSCAD Extended Studies is happy to accommodate students with different learning needs. If your child has any developmental disabilities or mental health concerns that may affect their participation, please reach out to our staff at make@nscad.ca so a plan can be put in place in advance of camp.
