Course Description

Taught by Jeff Miller and Andy Verboom

Offered in collaboration with the Writers' Federation of Nova Scotia, students will explore traditional physical and online zines as non-commercial, non-professional publications through which to share art and stories. Students will work independently and collaboratively to explore common and inexpensive materials to create extraordinary and unexpected effects within their zines, and will learn online methods of sharing their work.

NSCAD Extended Studies camps include all materials. Early drop off and late pick up options available from 8:30am to 5:00pm at no additional cost.

NSCAD Extended Studies is happy to accommodate students with different learning needs. If your child has any developmental disabilities or mental health concerns that may effect their participation, please reach out to our staff at make@nscad.ca so a plan can be put in place in advance of camp.
