Course Description

Comics II students will build from their base understanding of working in comics from Introduction to Comics or independent work and further develop characters, narrative, and create longer comics. The class will focus on construction of characters including consistency and development as relevant to drawing style and writing structure. The course will incorporate additional work sharing and critique, in addition to lecture and exercises. Students will both develop their current style as well as experiment with new forms and designs to grow their comic-making skills.
