Course Description

This course is aimed at students who have done an Introduction to Watercolour and want to further develop their skills in the medium of watercolour painting. Students will continue working with the unique qualities of watercolour painting including vibrant colours, transparency effects and immediacy. The class will have individual instruction, demonstrations and critiques of students work. Subjects will include still life, landscape, the figure, working from photos and abstraction. Students will be encouraged to challenge themselves and develop their own style of painting. Students are required to supply their own watercolour paints and watercolour paper.
