Course Description
Conquer the human form with Patrick Burgomaster in this intermediate drawing class. Students will review foundational drawing principles and techniques, and learn different approaches to drawing the figure through observation, such as fast gesture drawings and slow contour studies. Building from the inside out, students will study the major bone and muscle groups of the human body, and analyze master drawings to see how this knowledge of artistic anatomy can be applied in drawing. This course is designed for graphite and charcoal, however students may choose to work in any medium they like.
