Course Description

Learn how to visually express an idea or concept. This online studio course explores the elements of visual communication such as shape, line and colour shared between fine arts, crafts and design. You will learn about design theory, basic typography and how to use grids and layouts through exercises that can be applied to your own discipline. The objective of this course is for participants to learn how to make thoughtful compositions based on basic design principals using the medium of their choice.
