Course Description
Let's make comics! This class will provide basic comic techniques and tools to create a wide variety of narratives. We will learn about the fundamentals of making comics, for example, panel layouts (how the reader experiences your narrative), different types of speech bubbles to share dialogue and meaning between characters and the reader, as well how to communicate sound effects. Learn how to start with thumbnail sketches to plan your comics, describe the tone, and overall expression of what our characters are saying.
