Course Description

Join Lisa MacPherson and Jack Ross, two established professional artists, to learn advanced watercolour and acrylic painting techniques. This collaboratively taught workshop will deepen your understanding of mixed-media practices using both Watercolour and Acrylic paint. Exercises and projects will build confidence in observational painting, still life, colour, and light through the theme of local market goods - food & drink. The intensive workshop will include live demos, instruction, and individual feedback from Lisa and Jack. Exercises can be done in in watercolour, acrylic or both, we will examine the unique opportunities within each medium.
