Everyone has a story to tell - learn to tell it through photography! Explore documentary photography by investigating what makes a strong and compelling story. We will look at the fundamentals of composition, image sequencing, editing, and technical skills for weaving a narrative through photography. This is a perfect class for a student looking to develop their documentary photography skills or a student expanding on the skills they already have.
Students can use their phone or digital camera for documentation purposes. The focus of this class will be learning how to compose photos into a story. Tell stories that have never been told by digging through your old family photobooks or take a look outside and see what story is waiting to be told!
