ESPN-0244 - Colour Stories
Course Description
Explore new colour stories each week through live online watercolour painting sessions! Colour Stories is a unique watercolour course crafted for students who are curious about the deeper meanings and origins of colour. Explore how different colours connect with our emotions using this enchanting medium. Techniques such as wet-on-dry, wet-on-wet, glazing, negative painting, and layering will be included. We will explore free-flowing as well as more detailed compositions inspired by photo references and real-life subjects. Designed for students with some prior watercolour experience, this course aims to elevate their skills and creativity.
This course is hosted online. Live classes will be presented on Zoom and a link to the recurring meeting will be emailed to students ahead of the first class as well as being included on the course’s Brightspace home page. As such, students are required to have access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access during class time. Access to a web camera and microphone is strongly recommended.
