Course Description
This comprehensive surface design course will introduce students to a variety of textile techniques, including: cyanotype, block printing with natural dyes, designing repeating patterns with linocut print blocks, ink-based fabric printing techniques, resist dyeing, and hand dyeing. This course will cover the fundamentals of these methods while allowing for creative exploration and expression, providing students with the opportunity to experiment with these materials and develop their own unique textile designs.
