Art Medicine / Wonder'neath Art Society 2018-2020
Throughout the summer and fall of 2022, Vie Jones worked with Wonder’neath Art Society and NSCAD Art Factory to explore the teachings of the Medicine Wheel and its implications for organizational decision-making, community and staff care. Jones is a two-spirit Anishnabee artist and community facilitator. They participated in weekly teach-ins with Wonder’neath staff throughout the course of the internship. They also developed and led a two-part workshop series entitled Art Medicine for artists and arts facilitators involved at Wonder’neath and NSCAD Art Factory to generate discussion around community, artist and staff care.
