Course Description

Lets dive into self-publishing and making DIY mini books through the humble zine! This course is great for those who want to self-publish their books but don’t totally know where to start. We will learn about the informal and underground roots of zines, and play with different zine making techniques. Comics, poetry, collage, and fanzines are just some examples of the different methods participants explore. At the end of the class, students will develop the tools they need to continue to DIY their self-published books out of the classroom!
