Course Description

In this camp, students will use everyday objects, from food to backyard materials, to create elevated art prints. Together, instructors and students will explore the environment in and around NSCAD to forage for unique things to use in fun colourful prints. We’ll go on scavenger hunts along the Halifax waterfront and find all sorts of cool things to print with along the way. Campers will all have their work made into a small booklet and trade prints with their classmates to remember their adventures by.

NSCAD Extended Studies camps include all materials. Early drop off and late pick up options available from 8:30am to 5:00pm at no additional cost.

NSCAD Extended Studies is happy to accommodate students with different learning needs. If your child has any developmental disabilities or mental health concerns that may effect their participation, please reach out to our staff at make@nscad.ca so a plan can be put in place in advance of camp.
